Peripheral Space
The arcade game where looking directly at your target makes it disappear.
Welcome to Peripheral Space, a hypnotic retro-arcade reflex game that actively messes with your eyeballs.
Your mission is simple: find the target shape hidden in the floating neon swarm and click it. But thereโs a catch—your mouse cursor is highly volatile. If you bring your cursor too close to the shapes, they collapse into tiny, identical white dots.
You can't just stare at the board. You have to rely entirely on your peripheral vision to track your target, map out your move, and strike before you lose your visual lock!
โจ Key Features โจ
- ๐๏ธ Mind-Bending Mechanics: Trust your side-eye! You have to look away to see the shapes, making every click a tense test of visual memory.
- ๐ Interference Waves: Stay alert! Massive radar pulses periodically sweep across the screen, momentarily blinding you to the shapes and forcing you to re-evaluate the board.
- ๐ณ๏ธ Interactive Black Holes: Survive gravitational Singularities that slingshot your targets into chaotic orbits. (Pro tip: click a black hole to temporarily collapse it!)
- ๐ Hyperspace Transitions: Enjoy incredibly satisfying, screen-clearing explosions and radial 3D warp-speed jumps every time you beat a level.
- ๐พ Endless Flow-State: No stressful countdown timers. Auto-saving progression lets you chip away at hundreds of levels at your own pace.
- ๐ง Retro Vibes: A pulsing synth soundtrack and glowing vector graphics that belong in a glowing 1980s arcade cabinet.
๐ฎ How to Play ๐ฎ
- ๐ฏ IDENTIFY: Look at the Target Prototype in the top-left corner.
- ๐ SCAN: Find the matching shape in the drifting swarm using your peripheral vision.
- ๐ฑ๏ธ STRIKE: Swoop your mouse in and click it before you lose track of which dot is yours!
- ๐ CONTROL: Click on purple Singularities to temporarily disable their gravity when things get too chaotic.
